Weight loss does happen and it can happen for you too. Weight loss information is readily available, but is there truth to all that you find. Weight loss is comprised of several key factors.
Weight loss, in the context of medicine or health or physical fitness, is a reduction of the total body weight, due to a mean loss of fluid, body fat or adipose tissue and/or lean mass, namely bone mineral deposits, muscle, tendon and other connective tissue. Weight loss refers to the loss of total body mass in an effort to improve fitness, health, and/or appearance. Weight loss occurs when an individual is in a state of negative energy balance.
Occasionally, someone will ask why their low carb diet isnt working as they think it should be. Although it doesnt have the same impact on every individual, this one ingredient has been known to stall many a well-intentioned dieter. If you don't have a time to keep on with diet and exercise. You may even have selected a diet that requires you to cut out an entire food group for several months until you begin to lose weight. For example, if you love eating comfort foods, giving up all of the carbs in your diet is not going to make weight loss enjoyable or quick as you are likely to fall off your plan more often. A crash diet is where a person willfully restricts themselves of all nourishment (except water) for more than 12 hours. Generally the weight lost in a crash diet returns when normal eating resumes.

How to Lose Weight and Increase Metabolism
If you are like me you are tired of the new fad product on television promoting weight loss. The ab rocker, the ab lounge, and remember the ab belt that actually shocked you for 30 minutes? I am quite familiar with that one because I was suckered into buying that thing too. The fact of the matter is that you cannot target weight loss. It doesn't work. Never has and it never will.
Most of my life I have been in pretty good shape. I could eat anything I wanted and not gain a pound. I always worked out to keep in shape, but it got harder to do when I turned 30. All of a sudden I started to go up in pant size, and I had a belly on me. Being an ex wrestler, and now a coach, I have always been aware of my weight. I knew that the old days of coasting through were over for me. This actually is not a bad thing because I wasn't in as good of shape as I thought I was.
First I tried the fad products, because I just wasn't ready to stop coasting through. I still wanted the easy way out. Guess what? It didn't work. After adding an additional 10 pounds, I was ready to do what I already knew I needed to do. Work at losing weight for the first time in my life.
I'm sure you've heard it all before, and if you haven't don't waste your time on anything else because this is the real, and only way, to drop weight.
1. Exercise your whole body: I promise this isn't that bad. I work 2 muscle groups a day and do 20 minutes of cardio. You do not have to spend hours working your muscle groups. Exhaust the muscle as quick as possible and move on. 45 minutes a day and you're done. Try getting it done in the morning and you have it out of the way.
2. Eat more often: WHAT DID HE SAY???? That's right, eat more often. Instead of eating 3 big meals a day, eat 6 smaller meals throughout the day. This is how our bodies our designed. Keep your sugar levels constant throughout the day instead of spikes and crashes. This will increase your metabolism.
3. Cut the fat: I think this goes without saying, but you can't expect to lose weight by eating cake. Give yourself a cheat day. I save mine for the weekends. If you eat healthy 6 days a week, 1 day of cheating won't hurt too much and it keeps you focused for the rest of the week.
4. Drink Drink Drink: Ok, don't go to the bar and order a pitcher of beer every 15 minutes until you pass out. That is not what I mean. Drink WATER! I struggle with this one because I'm so busy that I don't take the time to get my water in. Drink at least 64 ounces of water a day and you will flush your body and actually hold less water.
That is all there is to it. You will feel much better and lose pounds. Good luck and get busy. (Resource by Chris. Click Here!)
