Would you like to lose 9 pounds this next week? Would you believe me if I told you YOU can do it? Will it be easy? No! Will it be worth it? Yes! Ask yourself - is it worth it to continue living the way your living today? By breaking weight loss down into smaller manageable goals, like Lose 9 lbs in 11 days, you are setting yourself up for small successes to be achieved along the road to a much bigger goal of maintaining lifelong weight loss.
Do you secretly stash cookies and snacks away so others can't find them? Do you nibble and take a bite here and there while cooking and baking? Do you finish off the leftovers on your family's plates because, after all "that's good food and YOU don't want to see it go to waste"? Do you eat three square meals a day and no more? Do you eat all of your meals "on-the-run" and "in the car" hitting every McDonald's and Burger King along the way? If this sounds like you, then I have some news for you...my friend, you are not alone!
Millions of people are suffering from these same weight loss issues. I am going to get you on the road to losing your first 9-10 pounds in 11 days - start right now! 1. Women may have no less than 1000 calories and no more than 1200 calories per day. No more than 700 calories are to be eaten before the evening or main meal.
2. Men may have no less than 1300 calories and no more than 1500 calories per day. No more than 800 calories are to be eaten before the evening or main meal. **Exceptions to these rules - If you are a woman weighing over 250 lbs (or a man weighing over 300 lbs) you may have 1,300 - 1,500 or 1,600 - 1,800 calories per day respectively.
3. You must write down ANY and ALL foods you eat and their caloric value - this is the only way to keep up with how many calories you eat per day. Trust me - you will be surprised to see how much (or how little you actually eat!)
4. You must weigh, measure and accurately count caloric values of any and ALL foods you put in your mouth (all leftovers, nibbles, bites, crumbs, etc)
5. Foods not allowed this week: liquid beverage meal replacements, any food bars, breakfast bars, granola bars, all dessert products (except sugar free diet jello), sodas, gravies, popcorn rice cakes, mini rice cakes, popcorn, deep fried or breaded foods including fried rice, pasta, white flour products, rolls, breads, all crackers and chips and potatoes, and anything that has sugar listed in the one of first 4 positions in the ingredient list.
So what does that leave? Fruits & Vegetables, Protein (Meats, fish, poultry, beans, legumes, lentils, eggs, natural, no sugar added peanut butter), Grains & Cereals, Milk/Dairy (but NOT ice cream, puddings, custards, frozen yogurts or desserts)
Are you ready to begin today? Weigh yourself, figure out what you are going to eat for the week, go shopping and get busy writing down everything you put in your mouth this next week. Do NOT step on that scale again until the end of your first week. Check out this website for more great tips! Lose 9 lbs in 11 days
